Jeff Snyder

   Jeff Snyder, age 51, of Scio passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024, at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh, PA after a brief illness.

   Jeff loved sports and was an avid Michigan Wolverines and Atlanta Braves fan. He coached teams in the Hopedale Baseball Association and helped start the Harrison County Youth Soccer League, sharing his knowledge and love of sports with children, especially his sons.

   He leaves behind wife, Chris Ankrom Snyder and sons Tucker and Turner of the home and his recliner buddy Maizey.

   Services will be held Monday, March 18, 2024, at 11 am in New Rumley Global Methodist Church, 41395 Scio-New Rumley Rd, Scio with Pastor Mark Smith officiating.  Friends may call Sunday from 3-7 pm at Koch Funeral Home, 101 W Main St, Scio. The Broken Chain

We little knew this morning that God was going to call your name.

in life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.

it broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone;

for part of us went with you the day God called you home.

you left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide;

and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.

our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same;

but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
